Emma Louisa Ellison
Emma is happy to return to her role at BCPIAC, where she provides legal and administrative support. She originally joined the BCPIAC team from 2011-2013 and again in 2015.
Her previous work experience includes advocacy-based counselling and crisis intervention with women navigating the impacts of violence and abuse, including one-on-one, crisis line, and group support to women dealing with criminal, family, and immigration law, income assistance, MCFD, and the intersections of trauma, mental health, and substance use.
In addition to her role at BCPIAC, Emma has been involved as an Intern Counsellor with Dragonstone Counselling, providing holistic and low-barrier counselling as a practicum student.
