Articled Student Position
2012/2013 Year
BCPIAC is seeking an articled student for a one year term starting sometime during the summer of 2012. This position involves legal research and writing, providing assistance for regulatory proceedings and court applications, and providing summary advice to individuals and client groups. Our practice areas include administrative law, human rights law, constitutional law and regulatory law.
Applications should include a resume, references, and transcripts in addition to a cover letter outlining any work, education, or life experiences that demonstrate a commitment to social justice, including working with people who live in poverty or experience systemic barriers to justice.
Because we require the services of an articled student for the full articling year, we are not in a position to consider applications from students who will be clerking during the same year.
